Remediation of Ashton canal corridor for the
Manchester Commonwealth Games Mott MacDonald has been
providing environmental services for the best part of a century,
including water resources development in the Middle East, agricultural
development in Africa, saline land
restoration in Pakistan, and flood defences in the UK. As a result, we
recognised early on that major projects need to balance social,
environmental and economic needs, an approach that is now accepted
worldwide.
Our environmental staff are found throughout our offices, enabling
them to focus on our customers’ local needs. They are also able to
draw on centres of excellence that provide a global service
wherever it is needed. This means that we can respond quickly to
our customers' needs with world class knowledge and local
support.
Our people are experts in disciplines as diverse as
ecology,
landscape architecture, natural
resource management,
air, land
and
water pollution, renewable
energy, energy efficiency and waste management. These specialist
skills are integrated by experienced environmental project managers
to complete
environmental impact
assessments (EIAs), project and organisational environmental
management plans (EMPs),
due
diligence assignments and other advisory services.
