Risks to human and animal health together with the preparedness
of populations to cope with dramatically changing environments are
important in all our projects.
We have undertaken many capacity building and institutional
strengthening projects, most notably in the areas of water resource
utilisation and conservation, for example policy development of
water resource management in
China, and
ground water use in
the semi-arid area of North East Brazil.
