Across Asia Pacific, we’re delivering a wide range of
specialist technical and advisory environmental services through
our offices in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei and
Manila.
We've completed a diverse range of projects, to go with the diverse
needs of the various countries that make up the South Pacific
region. Projects have included: irrigation, dam construction,
environmental impact assessment,
capacity building.
Example projects include:
- River Basin Rehabilitation, preparation of a master plan for
the rehabilitation of two critical river basins, including
re-greening and slope stabilisation, and rehabilitation of
irrigation schemes, Indonesia.
- Emergency Flood Rehabilitation Project, advice on the selection
of flood control methods and irrigation projects for
rehabilitation, and formation of water user associations,
Cambodia
- Technical assistance and preparation of a draft National Water
Sector Profile, including establishing an effective planning and
implementation capacity. Assistance in developing sustainable
management of irrigation systems, Cambodia.
- Capacity Building for the Ministry of Water Resources and
Meteorology (MOWRAM), Cambodia.
- Environmental assessment and
feasibility study for an oil palm project, upper Ramu Valley,
Papua New Guinea
- Feasibility study for combined cycle power station,
Singapore.
