Balgzand-Bacton Pipeline: we carried out an EIA and
submitted the Environmental Statement and planning application for
this major gas pipelineMott MacDonald’s work in conducting
marine and coastal environmental impact assessments (EIA) and
environmental appraisals has allowed us to acquire substantial
experience in ensuring compliance with national and international
regulations and legislation.
As such, we have developed close links with relevant regulatory
authorities and other key stakeholders world-wide, and we regularly
assist our clients in understanding the complex planning and
permitting processes necessary for their developments and other
projects.
An example of this is our EIA work for the
Balgzand-Bacton Pipeline running
between The Netherlands and the UK. We submitted the Environmental
Statement and the planning application for this pipeline, and
gained approval from the planning authorities on the first
application.
